Amergis Staffing iscurrently seeking experienced Registered Nurses (RN) for Neonatal Intensive Care (NICU) assignments in Petersburg ,VA!
Position Details:
Contract Length: 13 weeks (+ability toextend)
Number of Openings: 1
Start Date: 1/27, 2/10, 2/24
Hours/Shifts/Schedules: 36 (3×12's) /Nights
• Willwork every OTHER weekend/holiday
Setting:
Level II NICU
Dual role - NICU/Nursery
Will float within New Life Center as needed
Position Requirements:
Minimum 3 years of RN NICU experience
Have to be comfortable catching babies at delivery
Vent experience highly preferred
VA RN or Compact RN license
BLS and ACLS (AHA), NRP

TheRegistered Nurse - NICU cares for newborn babies who are delivered pre-term orat-term newborns who experience complications at the time of birth. TheRegistered Nurse - NICU provides intensive around-the-clock care, includingboth medical needs and basic daily care activities.
Minimum Requirements:
Current Registered Nurse license for the state in which the nurse practices
One year NICU experience required
NRP card per contract requirement
Current CPR if applicable
TB questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable
Current Health certificate (per contract or state regulation)
Must meet all federal, state and local requirements
Must be at least 18 years of age
