About the Role
We are hiring a

Cloud Solutions Architect

to join our client's team. In this role, you will be responsible for leading the cloud computing initiatives within the organization, directing the architectural aspects of the cloud brokering team, and overseeing the integration of IT and business operations. You will plan, design, and engineer the organization's cloud computing infrastructure and applications, leveraging your expertise in cloud technologies to optimize scalability, security, and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
Cloud Infrastructure Design & Implementation
Lead the design, planning, and implementation of cloud-based solutions, ensuring alignment with business goals and technology needs.
Engineer cloud infrastructures using various cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, etc.) to ensure scalability, security, and cost efficiency.
Collaborate with IT and business teams to define cloud strategies that support both current and future needs.
Cloud Architecture & Integration

Design and develop cloud architectures and infrastructure, considering the full range of cloud services (SaaS, PaaS, IaaS).
Implement and integrate cloud-based applications, ensuring seamless interoperability with existing systems.
Provide leadership and guidance to the cloud brokering team to ensure successful cloud adoption and integration.
Collaboration and Stakeholder Engagement

Work closely with business stakeholders, IT teams, and vendors to understand requirements and deliver optimal cloud solutions.
Provide technical expertise in cloud strategy development and execution, translating business objectives into cloud architecture solutions.
Lead cloud-related training sessions and provide knowledge-sharing opportunities to enhance organizational cloud capabilities.
Optimization & Security

Continuously assess the performance, security, and cost-effectiveness of cloud systems and recommend improvements.
Implement and manage cloud security policies and best practices to ensure data protection and compliance.
Monitor and optimize cloud resources to maintain efficient, high-performance cloud infrastructure.
Documentation & Reporting

Prepare comprehensive technical documentation, including cloud architecture designs, implementation plans, and operational procedures.
Provide status reports to stakeholders, summarizing cloud implementation progress, challenges, and performance metrics.
Qualifications and Skills
Education

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Experience
• 5 years of experience as a Cloud Architect or in a similar role, with expertise in cloud infrastructure and applications.
Hands-on experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
Strong experience with cloud solutions, including SaaS, PaaS, and IaaS models.
Technical Skills

Proficiency in cloud architecture, cloud security, and cloud computing concepts.
Familiarity with cloud development and deployment tools (e.g., Terraform, Kubernetes, Docker).
Knowledge of network protocols, APIs, and integration tools for cloud solutions.
Experience with DevOps and CI/CD processes in cloud environments.
Soft Skills

Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
Leadership abilities with a focus on teamwork and collaboration.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
