CU Anschutz in Aurora is known internationally as a premier health sciences research, education, healthcare, and patient-serving institution. Students here are primarily graduate level and above in dentistry, pharmacy, nursing, and the school of medicine.

Working within the University's consolidated risk management program, the Associate Director must cooperatively and collaboratively work with many offices and departments within the CU Denver and CU Anschutz campuses, the Auraria Higher Education Center, CU Medicine, Fort Logan, partner hospitals, cities, counties and redevelopment authorities as well as other campuses within the University of Colorado.
