Responsibilities:1- Medical Care and Emergency Response:
Provide first aid treatment and basic medical care to workers injured or ill on-site.
Assess the severity of injuries or illnesses and determine whether further medical treatment is needed.
Respond quickly to medical emergencies, ensuring appropriate care and facilitating the transfer to hospitals or clinics when necessary.
2- Health Monitoring and Wellness Programs:
Conduct regular health check-ups and monitor workers' general health and well-being, especially those performing physically demanding tasks.
Administer vaccinations, health screenings, and preventive care programs to promote worker health and reduce absenteeism.
Educate employees on personal health, hygiene, and safety practices relevant to the construction environment.

3- Health and Safety Compliance:Assist in the development and implementation of site health and safety protocols in line with company policies and local health regulations.
Ensure that the construction site maintains a safe and clean environment to minimize health risks, such as dehydration, heat exhaustion, and exposure to hazardous substances.
Participate in safety drills and training sessions to prepare for potential health-related incidents.
4- Record Keeping and Reporting:Maintain accurate records of all medical treatments, injuries, and health assessments conducted on-site.
Report incidents of injury, illness, or other health-related concerns to management and the health and safety team.
Ensure that medical supplies, first aid kits, and other healthcare equipment are well-stocked and compliant with industry standards.
5- Health and Wellness Training:
Conduct health and safety training sessions for employees, including topics such as proper lifting techniques, hydration, heat stress prevention, and injury prevention.
Promote awareness of health and wellness programs available to employees, including counseling services and preventive health measures.
Provide advice on ergonomics and healthy working practices to reduce the risk of injury.
6- Collaboration with Safety Team:
Collaborate with the health and safety team to assess workplace hazards and identify potential health risks to workers.
Participate in regular safety meetings and contribute to improving site safety protocols.
Work closely with the occupational health team and external medical providers to ensure comprehensive health care for employees.
Requirements:
Knowledge of first aid, CPR, and basic life support.
Familiarity with health and safety regulations in the construction industry.
Ability to handle medical emergencies calmly and efficiently.
Desired Candidate Profile
Qualification:Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Nursing or a related healthcare field.
License:Valid nursing license (RN, LPN, or equivalent) in the relevant jurisdiction.
