We are looking for a PE Engineer who takes pride in initiating and driving process changes when needed.Vestas Technology & Operations > Manufacturing > PE/TS SzczecinThe Technical Support (TS) team is part of the TS&Q (Technical Support and Quality) department at the Szczecin Nacelle Assembly Factory.
At the factory, serial production of the giant Vestas offshore nacelle named Blue Marlin will be launched during 2024.
The Technical Support team supports all operations conducted at the factory to ensure flawless execution by leading maintenance, continuous improvement, and troubleshooting of the manufacturing baseline.
The baseline includes work instructions, tools, Bill of Material, and implementation of design changes in running production.
Also supported by the TS team are lifting plans, risk assessments, assembly risk assessments (PFMEA), and quality activities in our Quality Management System.
The factory operation will be supported by a number of regional and global support functions.
The local TS department has a broad cooperation with several of these departments, making it a local organization in an international environment.ResponsibilitiesOwnership of the processes in place for enabling manufacturing of conforming customer products including:
Maintenance of PWI (Product Work Instruction)Drive engineering change requests if adjustments to the manufacturing baseline are neededParticipate in troubleshooting when problems in the factory processes ariseEnsure efficient communication to the production line when any adjustment of process is neededLead, drive, and enable a strong safety and quality culture through your behavior and areas of engagementQualificationsTechnical electromechanical background preferred, such as mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, or production engineeringExperience within the field of heavy industry manufacturing is highly relevant for the job roleGood technical understanding of mechanics and/or electrical installations is neededGood technical understanding of production engineering will be a positive add-onExperience within other large corporate organizations is beneficialPolish language skills are mandatoryGood communication skills and fluent in English (English is the company-wide language)High degree of safety and quality awarenessWillingness to take accountability and coordinate to ensure progress on tasksGood understanding of complex organizational setups to efficiently communicate with colleagues and relevant stakeholders across different culturesAble to communicate with colleagues at all levels in a factory environmentAbility to comprehend complex problems and maintain a holistic approach to problem-solvingFast learnerWhat we offerIn our team, you can expect to find a working culture that's friendly and informal.
