This permanent role involves the critical task of physically incorporating Integrated Combat System equipment onto Royal Navy submarines.
The role is part of the Platform Physical Design Team, which provides essential services within the client's specialist engineering division.
This opportunity allows you to liaise with high-level stakeholders and develop a longstanding career within the defence industry.Key Responsibilities:
Reviewing combat designs and providing mechanical design feedback (structural, thermal, and hydraulic) in the naval/marine domainTaking ownership of specific mechanical design issues and managing Integrated Combat SystemsLiaising with internal and external stakeholders while managing updates and design inputsProducing CS mechanical design interface informationPerforming engineering calculations and generating associated test specifications and proceduresProducing engineering drawings in FORAN/CADS5/Visio to BS 8888 standardsJob Requirements:
Experience in hydraulic and pneumatic systems engineeringDegree or HND qualified with relevant experienceChartered or working towards ChartershipDesirable Skills:
