System Administration Specialist

VAM Systems is currently looking for System Administration Specialist for our Bahrain operations with the following skillsets & terms and conditions:
Professional Skills/Experience:

8+ years of experience.
Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or any related field from an accredited institution.
Holder of MCP/MCSA/Server infrastructure, Security Administrator Associates MS500, Azure Fundamental AZ900, Azure Administrator Associates & AWS Certified Solution Architect Associate.
Responsible for monitoring server health in AWS & Azure.
Report any issues with the servers.
Monitor and manage servers/systems alerts and notifications.
Manage Security Policies (comply with NCSC).
Manage & maintain security appliances: e.g. Qualys/ Axonius/ Cortex/ Palo Alto.
Manage GPO, Shared Printers, SharePoint Online DL.
Deploy applications through Intune for mobile and Windows platform.
Update applications through Intune for mobile and Windows platform.
Manage and maintain the Hybrid Environment (Exchange and Azure AD).
Monitor and maintain network devices, troubleshooting and identifying the root cause.
Monitor and maintain Backup & Restore of Hyper-V and Cloud Instances, AMI.
Monitor and maintain all Virtualization technologies: Microsoft Azure, AWS.
Manage Internal systems, cloud, and network infrastructure.
Provide support in the deployment and configuration of network design (Switching & Routing on-prem and Cloud).
Ability to write comprehensive Technical Documentation.
Deep knowledge in SCCM: deployment of Windows 11, Application, Updates, and Upgrades to client and server OS.
Experience in designing and managing the infrastructure network for Multiple Sites.
Knowledge of Service-oriented architecture and interfaces Architecture.
Experience of working with multiple solution partners and systems integration.
Good critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
Experience of monitoring service thresholds.
Experience with rapid problem solving.
Project management skills; able to independently implement new projects or products.
Takes accountability and responsibility for assigned work tasks/projects.
Strong attention to detail, analytical, excellent time management and organizational skills, able to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
Effective communication skills are required.

Required Advanced Technical Proficiencies and Duties:

Managing & Maintaining Windows Servers:

Hyper-V, Hyper-V replica, Clustering.
Advanced working knowledge of Windows Server 2019/2022 maintenance, troubleshooting, optimization, migration, & upgrade.

Managing & Maintaining Network Devices:

Network Switches/ Firewall/ Wi-Fi Solution & Access Points.
Managing HQ & Branches Network WAN, LAN, Wi-Fi connectivity, Cisco routers & Switches, Cisco SDA, Palo Alto firewalls and Cortex Antivirus, Qualys Cloud Platform.

Managing & Maintaining on-premises Infrastructure:

Cluster & Hyper-V/ SAN/ LUN/ Backup/ Domain Controller/ DHCP/ DNS/ SCCM & Print Server/ Firewall & Switch Configuration.
Advanced working knowledge of Active Directory 2022/Azure AD, DHCP, DNS and how it works in complex environments.

Managing & Maintaining O365 Suite:

Intune/ EXO/ Teams/ File systems SPO/ MDM/ Security/ Compliance.
Implementing and managing Conditional Access Policy, Windows Information Protection, Identity Protection, MFA.

Managing & Maintaining Multi-Cloud Infrastructure:

Azure: IaaS/ PaaS/ SaaS/ Hybrid Cloud & Identities/ Storage/ Virtual Machines & Networks/ Resource Groups/ Subscriptions/ Cost Management.
AWS: EC2/ S3 bucket/ Storage Gateway/ Share Permission/ High Availability & Scalability VPC/ managing IAM Roles/ Management & Creation of EBS/ Deletion and Expansion.
Creation and management of AWS EC2 Instances, Security Groups, S3 Storage, Storage Gateway, RDS.

Managing & Maintaining Multi-Cloud Services:

O365 Backup using Veritas SaaS Protection which includes (Mailbox/ OneDrive/ SharePoint Sites).
365 Archive using Veritas SaaS Protection.
Advanced working knowledge of Veritas Backup Exec, Altaro Backup & Replication, and Recovery.

Hands-on Experience in implementing and managing multiple Active Directory Domain Forests.
Hands-on Experience in implementing and managing applications through Intune Smartphone and Windows.
Hands-on Experience in Cross Forest Domain Migration, Tenant to Tenant Migrations.
Hands-on Experience in designing and implementing infrastructure projects. E.g. Network Design (LAN & WAN)/ Virtual Architecture Design for Cloud Platform.
Hands-on Experience in designing and implementing Physical Servers and Virtual Machines and deploying services e.g. Domain Controller /DHCP/ DNS / SCCM/ Print/ ForeScout NAC/ Qualys/ Axonius/ Cortex/ Palo Alto.
Ability to understand Security issues and experience in solving Critical Vulnerabilities.
Hands-on Experience in implementing Security Policies (comply with NCSC).
Hands-on Experience in deploying Windows Updates through Microsoft Autopatch and Arc.
Hands-on Experience in Backup & Restore of Hyper-V and Cloud Instances, AMI.

Joining time frame: (15 - 30 days)
The selected candidates shall join VAM Systems - Bahrain and shall be deputed to one of the leading Organizations in Bahrain.
