• The company is seeking a seasoned Portfolio Management and Development Lead to spearhead its growth across various subsidiaries and verticals. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in leading and sustaining the growth and operation of a commercial group.
• Key Responsibilities
• Develop and implement strategic plans for portfolio companies, setting clear objectives and goals for growth across multiple sectors
• Identify potential areas of expansion and devise strategies to enter and establish a strong presence in those markets
• Scale up and expand the group portfolio geographically, streamlining operations and developing group companies and products to grow their market shares
• Develop efficiencies and establish systems where needed
• Lead and manage teams responsible for each business unit
• Report to the Group head on the performance of all assets on a regular basis
• Drive the performance and profitability of the portfolio

• Actively seek out and evaluate new business opportunities, both within and beyond the company's current verticals
• Conduct market research, analyze industry trends, and identify potential partnerships, acquisitions, or joint ventures to drive growth
• Negotiate and secure deals that align with the company's growth objectives
• Operational Management
• Oversee operations of the company and its subsidiaries, ensuring efficient and effective execution of business activities across sectors
• Monitor KPIs and financial metrics to track progress and make informed decisions
• Provide guidance and support to subsidiary leaders, ensuring they have the necessary resources to achieve their goals and leverage synergies
• Identify and manage risks that may impact the operations, financial performance, or reputation of the company and its subsidiaries
• Financial Performance
• Accountable for ensuring the company's financial health and profitability
• Develop and monitor budgets, forecast financial targets, and implement cost-effective measures
• Analyze financial reports, identify areas for improvement, and make informed decisions to optimize revenue generation and cost management
• Communication and Reporting
• Ensure effective communication channels within the organization and transparent reporting to the managing director and board of directors
• Present regular updates on the performance, strategic initiatives, and significant milestones of the company and its subsidiaries

• Provide strong leadership to the executive team and other key stakeholders
• Set the overall direction of the company, inspire and motivate employees, and foster a high-performance culture

• Bachelor's/Master's in Business Administration or relevant fields
• Proven track record in leading and sustaining the growth and operation of a commercial group
• A success story in a similar line of work is preferred
