- Assisting the Head Sommelier in all tasks- Assists guests with wine selections in a helpful, thoughtful, and gracious manner.
• Informing guests on the variety of wines available.- Training FOH team members on available wines.- Developing new vendors and negotiating prices with vendors.
• Organizing wine tasting events.- Complying with health and safety regulations.- Performs other duties pertinent to this job as assigned.
• Minimum 2 years experience as senior Sommelier from premium dining venues.- Can work in a high volume operation.- WSET certified- Strong knowledge in Italian wines- Good communication skills in English, Italian will be ideal
