A sexually transmitted infection caused by Chlamydia trachomatis . In this patient, affected lymph nodes above and below the inguinal fold created the “groove sign” bilaterally.Although not pathognomonic, this sign is characteristic of lymphogranuloma venereum and should immediately suggest the diagnosis.
