Our client, a leading global real estate services firm, is seeking a skilled HVAC/R Technician to join their team. Operating in the dynamic and fast-paced real estate industry, this role requires a combination of technical expertise and essential soft skills.

As an HVAC/R Technician, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient operation and maintenance of heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration systems across multiple facilities. This position demands exceptional problem-solving skills to analyze system operations, identify issues, and implement effective solutions.

Perform maintenance, repairs, and troubleshooting on mechanical, plumbing, structural, fire/life safety, and control systems across multiple facilities.
Travel between different facility locations to ensure proper operation and maintenance of equipment.
Conduct preventative maintenance tasks, including cleaning, inspecting, calibrating, and replacing parts for HVAC systems and associated equipment.
Monitor and ensure quality of work performed by outside contractors for maintenance tasks.
Comply with all safety procedures, maintain clean and safe work areas, and propose methods to eliminate potential hazards.

What's Needed?

Experience:
8-10 years of experience maintaining and repairing commercial building systems, including mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems.
Technical Expertise:
Ability to analyze the operation of various commercial or industrial mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems, determine the cause of any problems/malfunctions, and take corrective action.
Certifications:
EPA 608 Type II Certification is required, and EPA 608 Universal Certification is preferred.
Education:
High School Diploma or equivalent is required. Two years of trades schooling in electrical system design, refrigeration, and HVAC role is preferred.
Skills:
Working knowledge of computer applications including Word and Excel, as well as a valid driver's license for traveling between multiple facilities.
