The Sanitation Technician is responsible for upholding QA and USDA cleanliness standards throughout the facility at Willamette Egg Farms in Canby, OR.Essential Job Functions:
Perform duties of cleaning and sanitizing facility by following established SSOP's.Dissemble equipment, clean all food contact and non-food contact surfaces using industrial chemicals and sanitation tools.Adhere to safe work practices, wears appropriate PPE when handling chemicals.Understands HAZCOM, GMPs, LOTO, confined space rules.
Handles and dilutes chemicals according to safety rules.Report to Supervisor/lead any conditions or practices that may adversely affect food safety, food quality or personnel safety.Assist with the completion of Master Cleaning Schedule.Assist maintenance personnel as needed.Perform any other duties as assigned.Education and Experience:
Level 1:
No prior experience required.LANGUAGE SKILLS:
Level 3Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, with short correspondence.
The ability to write simple correspondence.
Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations.MATHEMATICAL SKILLS:
Level 2Ability to add and subtract two-digit numbers.REASONING ABILITY:
