POSITION SUMMARY
Are you a naturally friendly person with a helpful personality? Sugarbush Resort is seeking individuals with a strong eye for guest service and hospitality to become Front Desk Agents for the Lodge at Lincoln Peak. Hiring Full-time year-round 30 hours per week, 8am-2pm.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Duties include greeting guests, answering phones, checking guests in/out, providing information about the resort and the Mad River Valley.
Process charges in selling resort products/services, responding to guest needs, balancing guest accounts, and working with the resort's information systems.
As a primary point of guest service contact, tasks will be performed in a welcoming and professional manner.
Agents ensure positive, accurate, prompt, and courteous service while putting the guest's interests first.
Print lift tickets for groups and guests during winter season
QUALIFICATIONS
Experience at a hotel/front desk is preferred, but we are also prepared to train the right candidate.
A professional personality is essential to this important service role.
Front Desk Agents must be able to maintain a friendly, responsive, helpful, and knowledgeable attitude while juggling many demands and sometimes difficult guests.
Availability for a flexible workweek (including holidays and weekends) is necessary for the position.
General computer knowledge and experience with cashier/customer service is preferred while previous use of SMS or other reservations systems is a plus.
Timely and reliable attendance is essential.
Written, spoken and reading proficiency in the English language.
Must be able to work flexible hours and overtime during busy periods.
Requires repetitive data entry and long periods of standing, with occasional lifting of luggage up to 20 lbs.
