Job Overview:
The Vice President of Human Resources (VP of HR) will lead the global HR function for our client, focusing on talent management, leadership development, and organizational transformation. This role is essential for creating scalable HR processes that enhance employee engagement, drive organizational effectiveness, and support business growth. The ideal candidate will possess significant experience in implementing people-focused processes and leading talent initiatives within a fast-paced, global environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Leadership & Strategy:
Act as a key member of the executive leadership team, contributing to the business strategy from a talent and organizational development perspective.
Design and implement global talent strategies that align with the company's growth objectives.
Foster a culture of continuous improvement, innovation, and collaboration.
Talent Management & Development:
Lead initiatives in talent acquisition, succession planning, leadership development, and employee retention.
Develop and implement frameworks to identify and develop high-potential talent across the organization globally.
Collaborate with department leaders to assess talent needs and offer guidance on team structure, skills development, and coaching.
Organizational Development:
Drive transformation initiatives, ensuring alignment with business goals and long-term growth strategies.
Create processes that enhance employee engagement, productivity, and collaboration.
Implement effective performance management systems to maintain high-performance standards across the organization.
Diversity, Equity & Inclusion (DEI):
Champion diversity and inclusion initiatives, ensuring they are integrated into the company culture and talent processes.
Lead efforts to cultivate a work environment that supports diverse perspectives and experiences.
Change Management:
Lead large-scale organizational change initiatives, ensuring smooth transitions for employees and alignment with business objectives.
Provide expertise in designing and managing change strategies that promote effective adoption of new processes and structures.
Requirements Include:
Education:
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, Organizational Development, or a related field; an advanced degree is preferred.
Experience:
10+ years of progressive HR leadership experience, focusing on talent management, organizational development, and process implementation.
Proven track record of implementing HR processes and systems that improve organizational effectiveness.
Experience in a global, manufacturing, or industrial environment is highly preferred.
Skills:
Strong leadership and people management abilities, with the capacity to influence and collaborate across global teams.
Deep understanding of talent acquisition, leadership development, and succession planning.
Proficiency in change management and organizational transformation.
Certifications:
Professional HR certifications (e.g., SHRM-SCP, SPHR) are a plus but not required.
Knowledge:
Comprehensive understanding of global HR practices, talent management frameworks, and organizational development strategies.
Knowledge of DEI best practices and their application within a corporate setting.

Additional Information:
Work Environment:
Based in Charlotte, NC, with potential travel required to support global operations.
Reporting Structure:
Reports directly to the CEO and works closely with other executive leaders.
