Job Summary

We are seeking a highly experienced Principal Architect with 12 to 16 years of experience in PEGA frameworks PEGA platform and PEGA Decision Hub. The ideal candidate Should have a minimum 5 years of experience as a decisioning architect with 12 years of overall Pega Platform experience. Ability to improve Pega Decisioning AI performance through various methods

Responsibilities

Apply deep knowledge of omni-channel customer engagement to increase sales reduce costs and improve customer experience including but not limited to service offer propositions experience enhancements and decisioning capabilities evolution
Apply design principles of NextBestAction marketing offers target audiences decision strategies and running and monitoring marketing campaigns.
Provide technical guidance and mentorship to the development team on PEGA best practices.
Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into technical solutions.
Ensure that PEGA applications are integrated seamlessly with existing systems and processes.
Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices.
Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to PEGA applications.
Develop and maintain documentation for PEGA solutions including design specifications and user guides.
Stay updated with the latest PEGA technologies and industry trends to ensure the use of best practices.
Participate in project planning and provide estimates for development tasks.
Ensure that PEGA solutions comply with security and regulatory requirements.
Work closely with the billing team to ensure that PEGA applications support billing processes effectively.
Contribute to the continuous improvement of PEGA development processes and methodologies.

Qualifications

Must have extensive experience with PEGA frameworks PEGA platform and PEGA Decision Hub.
Should have a strong background in the billing domain.
Must possess excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
Should have experience in leading and mentoring technical teams.
Must have strong communication and collaboration skills.
Should be able to work effectively in a hybrid work model.
Must be detail-oriented and able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
Should have a proactive approach to identifying and addressing potential issues.
Must be committed to delivering high-quality solutions on time.
Should have a strong understanding of software development lifecycle.
Must be able to work independently and as part of a team.
Should have experience with Agile methodologies.
Must be able to adapt to changing business requirements and priorities.

Salary and Other Compensation:

The annual salary for this position is between $180,000 to $200,000 depending on the experience and other qualifications of the candidate.

This position is also eligible for Cognizant's discretionary annual incentive program and stock awards, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant's applicable plans.
