May be placed on Standby for a scheduled shiftDay 1 PASS/FAIL SIMs Lab requirements2 weekends per 4 weeks2 out of 3 major holidaysUnit Specific InformationCharge Nurse does not take patientsFloating:
Required to float between all ICU floors, and all Tele UnitsFloor specific orientation:
2 shifts on the floorCommon diagnosis / Types of patients:
Any patient that would qualify for critical care with a neuro diagnosisHospital does cranis, brain tumor removal and ablations, brain biopsies, complicated spine surgeries and scoliosis repairAdditional DetailsMedical Solutions Pre-ScreensIf clinical recommends, AUTO OFFERSIMs lab is pass/failTravelers that understand sterile field typically pass SIMs Lab skillsIn addition to SIMs Lab, they will also go through lifts, restraints, & wound care
