Requirements
Position Summary
Under the general supervision of the Emergency Dept.
Director, the Trauma Registrar/ED Administrative Assistant is responsible for managing trauma registry data, generating reports, coordinating injury prevention initiatives, and providing administrative support to the trauma program as well as assisting the ED Director with other administrative duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
Must be at least 18 years of age.
Proof of highest level of education completed but not less than high school education or equivalent.
Ability to use a computer, 10-key calculator, and other office equipment.
Ability to type with acceptable speed and accuracy.
Ability to perform well under pressure required.
Ability to effectively communicate in oral and written form.
An understanding of computer systems, process design and data management.
Must have a well-groomed, professional appearance.
Must have the mental and physical ability to perform, with or without reasonable accommodation, the essential functions of the job.
Ability to lift, carry, pull, & push 50 pounds.
Language proficiency in English, with excellent written and verbal fluency.
Preferred Qualifications

Previous Meditech experience or other related electronic records systems.
Strong organizational and communication skills.
Proficiency with data entry and reporting.
Emergency Medical Technician or current Arizona Licensed Nursing Assistant.
(Current Arizona Certified Nursing Assistant license accepted, 6 months to convert to Arizona Licensed Nursing Assistant upon hire).
