Guam is an earthly tropical paradise, located in the far Western Pacific Ocean. Our neighbors are Japan, Korea, Hong Kong, and the Philippines. We boast stunning beaches, a vibrant culture, and a close-knit community. We are a US Territory, so our official language is English. However, you may find the locals speaking Chamorro, the native language of the island. Despite the beauty of the island, the health needs are great. Guam is classified as a Health Professional Shortage Area by the NHSC in every specialty. We have an alarming rise in diabetes, obesity, and cancer.
