Summary You will serve as a SUPPLY TECHNICIAN in the NAVAL RESERVE OFFICERS' TRAINING CORPS (NROTC) UNIT of NROTC RENSSALER.
Responsibilities You will provide support, determine, and maintain stock levels of authorized supplies and orders recurring and non-recurring physical inventories of authorized supplies.
You will serve as DTS Manager/Coordinator for the unit; Prepare travel arrangements and processes resulting travel claims for unit personnel.
You will serve as NROTC point of contact for government vehicles, overseeing government vehicle program and responsible for one and/or up to two vehicles.
You will compile monthly mileage reports and ensures periodic maintenance and safety inspections are conducted and documented.
You will reviews, researches, and resolves non-deliveries, losses, damages, other discrepancies and maintains property accounts and records.
You will validate, certify, and generate contract and processes student tuition, registration fees, and tuition assistance certifying invoice and transmits/process payments for further certification.
Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications GS-07 Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-06 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector.
Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:
1) Applying supply regulations, policies, procedures, techniques and methods to maintain materials and supplies; 2) Maintaining automated supply systems/programs in accordance with procedures; 3) Tracking supply budget and reporting to verify available funding for the procurement of supplies; 4) Practicing the execution of property management procedures and material control.
GS-06 Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-05 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector.
1) Ability to use personal computer to prepare documents; 2) Provide supply operations support; 3) Knowledgeable of property management records; 4) Familiarity with Microsoft Office suite.

Flexitime is authorized within the NSTC timekeeping directives.
• Exceptions to these regular work hours are:
In August of each year when new student orientation is conducted during a Saturday and Sunday, employee's 80 hour work period will be adjusted to work that Saturday and Sunday with two weekdays off.
Employee will be informed of work schedule change at least one pay period prior to the change.
If the Saturday and Sunday scheduled falls into two separate pay periods, each pay period will have one weekday scheduled as off.
Additionally, twice a year, incumbent will be required to perform uniform fittings for NROTC students and uniform disbursements during evening hours, up to 2000.
Employee's work day will be adjusted to work for a later start time for the 8 hour work A tentative offer of employment will be rescinded if the selectee fails to meet the pre-employment requirements, including failure to report to any of the scheduled appointments.
Extensive TAD travel for a 5 week period each year is required.
