Key Responsibilities:
Work within a multi-discipline team to develop and prepare efficient and reliable electrical design packages for medium and high voltage substations.
Perform calculations and analysis to validate design solutions and ensure compliance with industry regulations
Collaborate with the project team, including engineers, technicians, and contractors, to develop innovative design solutions
Review and approve contractor submittals and drawings to ensure adherence to project specifications
Conduct site visits and inspections during construction to monitor progress and address any design-related issues
Provide technical support to field personnel, answering questions and resolving technical problems as they arise

Required Qualifications:

5+ years of substation design engineering experience
Experience in the power utility field
Proficiency in AutoCAD
PE license a plus
Experience with high and medium voltage
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering field

Hybrid work locations available in Albany, NY, Binghamton, NY, Rochester, NY, Augusta, ME or Orange, CT
Salary:
$72,000 - $157,000- commensurate with experience
