As a member of our Omnichannel Demo Team and a Web Front End Developer, you will be responsible for supporting, monitoring, and extending our Oracle Omnichannel solutions, including XStore Point of Service Suite, Store Inventory Operations, Customer Engagement, Order Management Suite, and Digital applications. Your Web Front End expertise in configuring and extending web application will be crucial to our success. Oracle JET UI experience will also be required to customize the UI of the Oracle Retail Omnichannel Solution. DevOps practices for container management and set up agile methodologies for project organization experience is also useful.

Digtial Application Development:

Develop of a Digital demo application with a mobile-first approach using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, React, Node. js, and REST/SOAP APIs.

Ensure the application is responsive, user-friendly, and meets business requirements.

Demonstration Environment Maintenance:

Maintain a stable, always-available global demonstration environment.

Provide demonstration support to ensure uptime and reliability.

Develop and use monitoring tools to report on KPIs and demo health regularly.

Prepare and support marketing events by ensuring the demo environment is stable and ready.

Collaboration and Issue Resolution:

Work closely with development teams to rapidly fix issues.

Ensure new demo releases are stable, tested, and documented before release to Sales Consultants.

Maintain clear and shared documentation for all processes and updates.

Innovation and Value:

Integrate AI features and innovations into the demo applications to deliver additional value.

Participate in customer demonstrations and marketing events to provide support, understand usage and proactively suggest improvements.

DevOps Implementation:

Implement and manage DevOps practices including version control (Git), build tools (Maven), CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins), and containerization/orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes).

Ensure smooth and automated deployment processes.

Agile Methodology:

Set up and promote agile practices within the team.

Facilitate agile ceremonies such as daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives.

Foster a culture of continuous improvement and collaboration.

Responsibilities

Requirements:

Technical Skills:

Strong proficiency in web front-end development.

Extensive experience with front-end technologies including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Oracle JET and JS Framework like React, Angular, etc.

Experience with REST/SOAP APIs and integrating them into applications.

Proficiency in version control systems (Git) and build tools (Maven).

Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins) and containerization/orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes).

Soft Skills:

Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.

Strong communication and collaboration focus.

Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, agile team environment.

Attention to detail and a strong commitment to quality.

Experience:

3+ years of experience in full stack development.

Proven experience in building and maintaining ecommerce applications.

Experience implementing and managing DevOps practices.

Experience setting up and working within an agile development environment.

Education:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with CX solutions such as Ecommerce and Loyalty Engagement.

Experience with Omnichannel solutions such as Point of Service (Register), Store Inventory, CRM, and Customer Order Management.

Familiarity with microservices architecture.

Understanding of automated testing frameworks and tools.

Certification in Agile methodologies (e. g. , Certified Scrum Developer).

US: Hiring Range: from $94,200 to $223,500 per annum. May be eligible for bonus and equity.

Oracle maintains broad salary ranges for its roles in order to account for variations in knowledge, skills, experience, market conditions and locations, as well as reflect Oracle's differing products, industries and lines of business.

Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity.

Vacation accrual is prorated for employees working between 20 and 34 hours per week. Employees working fewer than 20 hours per week are not eligible for vacation.
