Senior Marketing Campaign Manager
Summary
The Senior Marketing Campaign Manager leads integrated campaign planning, development and execution, with a goal of driving leads in support of business growth objectives. The role leverages deep customer insights to drive and execute demand generation programs across the Suddath brand portfolio, including the development, planning and measurement of integrated campaigns, search engine marketing, direction of content development and advertising/promotion.
The role will serve as a key member of the Suddath Workplace Solutions team, reporting to the President of Workplace Solution, and includes the management of content resources. It requires a thorough understanding of campaign planning, strong digital marketing skills, content strategy experience and the ability to effectively manage detailed projects. The candidate must also be able to manage tight deadlines, collaborate well with others and provide a high level of service to internal stakeholders, aligned with their requirements and business objectives.
Detailed Responsibilities
Integrated Marketing Strategy and Planning (30%)
Understand and align with product line business strategies, goals and objectives and develop a thorough understanding of the business model, customers and competition
Assist in the development of the yearly marketing and campaign plans by product line
Partner with product line stakeholders and marketing director to understand target audience needs, buyer behavior and how Suddath supports customer needs
Work with stakeholders to define the overall portfolio of communications and demand generation deliverables as part of the ongoing marketing plans.
Develop specific marketing strategies by audience, with consideration of preferred channels and media, and stages of the purchasing cycle
Use customer data and insights to identify target most valuable customer segments and shape development of customer journeys, personas, pain points and value propositions
Lead development of product line messaging maps tailored by customer segment, product line and audience
Optimize the marketing mix balancing integrated inbound and outbound tactics
Assist with annual budget planning
Campaign Development (35%)
Lead the design, plan, execution, management and measurement of each individual campaign, including setting target audiences, objectives, schedule, budget, marketing mix and channels, as well as tracking and measuring results
Work with the marketing operations team in the collection and management of customer information for use in targeted marketing activities
Collaborate with marketing team to develop a cohesive creation, execution and testing/optimization strategy to increase engagement
Engage and orchestrate via stakeholders, sales leaders, marketing director, content resources, creative, digital and marketing operations to develop an integrated engagement strategy designed to achieve program goals
Use analytics tools to constantly track, test and optimize success of content and content strategy online and adjust as necessary; include A/B testing when applicable
Ensure alignment of messaging across marketing, communications and social media channels for the respective business units served
Oversee comprehensive campaign analytics to drive continuous improvement in campaign performance, strategy and ROI, including postmortems on what is working or not working to capture learnings for future efforts
Provide stakeholders with ongoing visibility to campaign results, including engagement, ROI and leads-to-cash visibility
Execution - Content Development, Lead Generation and Brand Activation (35%)
Manage ongoing execution across all stakeholders using project management tools and recurring planning meetings.
Lead content development and resource management across the portfolio of deliverables, including web, blogs, videos, sales letters, marketing collateral, case studies, whitepapers, presentations and other content, with the goal of increasing awareness, driving consideration and generating leads
Collaborate closely with the internal digital team on the execution of digital lead generation, including SEM, Google My Business, PPC/LSA, remarketing & retargeting, social media and other forms of promotion
Ensure web content stays up-to-date and leverages best practices in SEO and CRO
Collaborate closely with creative and content resources on brand development and awareness, including the execution of digital and print advertising for use in industry publications, event sponsorships, outdoor, and other forms of paid media
Lead execution of local-market influencer campaigns, supporting marketing, PR and business development efforts
Incorporate best practices into demand generation activities and stay abreast of key market trends and provide competitive intelligence support
Effectively communicate results and learnings through executive updates and reviews
Job Requirements:
Bachelor's degree (B. A. ) from four-year college or university
At least five years of marketing and/or business development experience
Experience with HubSpot and/or other marketing automation platforms
Ease with conducting data analysis through business intelligence tools
Excellent project management skills, including an ability to effectively multitask, prioritize, handle detailed information and meet deadlines
Strong collaboration skills in a cross-functional environment
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
Presence on social platforms (e. g. , LinkedIn and Twitter) are a plus
Experience in transportation, logistics, moving or customer services a plus
Experience working in a matrix system a plus
