Savannah River National Laboratory (SRNL) is seeking a Project Manager to join our team. SRNL located at the U. S. Department of Energy's (DOE) Savannah River Site (SRS) in Aiken, SC, is a multi-program laboratory that develops and deploys innovative technologies to address some of the nation's environmental, energy, and national security challenges. In this position, you would be responsible for organizing and overseeing all facets of the project ensuring objectives are achieved. Savannah River National Laboratory (SRNL) is seeking a Project Manager to join our team. SRNL located at the U. S. In this position, you would be responsible for organizing and overseeing all facets of the project ensuring objectives are achieved.

Responsibilities

Manage multiple laboratory infrastructure projects including Equipment Supply/installation, Lab Renovations, Repurposing Existing Facility Space and New Construction.
Lead project initiation meetings with "customers" to determine project scope and requirements and be able to clearly communicate the project scope and requirements to the Project Team.
Management of multiple Project Teams
Responsible for Project Change Control: Scope/Cost/Schedule/Risk
Project Budget performance Cost and Schedule.
Develop and manage of Project Schedules establishing milestones, activities, and deliverables.
Manage Project Cost and Project Schedule Variances Earned Value Management (EVMS).
Establish Project Funding Requirements and Project Funding execution.
Lead projects adhering to DOE Order 413-3B requirements.
Manage and coordinate internal matrixed project resources.
Manage external resources, subcontractors responsible for project scope: Engineering Design, Construction and Engineered Equipment.
Project performance reporting and documentation.
Manage external and internal customer expectations.
Communicate project status updates with SRNL project owners and senior leadership.
Support cost estimate development starting with project proposal through implementation.
Perform routine risk assessments to mitigate cost and schedule impacts.

Qualifications

Education:
Bachelor's degree in an Engineering/Construction discipline. , 7+ years experience

Preferred Qualifications:

Minimum of 5 years Project Management experience managing Construction Projects.
Project Management experience DOE 413-3B projects
Project Management experience with Earned Value Management System (EVMS)
