The Impact You'll Make in this Role

As an Event Planning Analyst, you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative and diverse people around the world. Here, you will make an impact by:

• Provides specialized professional services to support the planning and execution of local Health Care Professional (HCP) customer-facing events in Latin America, with primary focus on events in Chile. Manages programs and events utilizing web-based systems and software applications. Creates registration sites, manages internal and external attendee registration and communications for concurrent programs and events following a variety of clearly defined procedures under general guidance. Supports ad hoc event reporting requests for attendance and customer satisfaction metrics.

• Works independently, coordinating with internal business partners in professional, supervisory and peer level roles and external healthcare professional (HCP) customers to plan and execute localized educational and advisory events. Arranges Faculty/Speaker travel arrangements, transportation, and lodging. Conducts venue sourcing and contracting, including negotiations. Confirms room set up, menu selection, and audio-visual requirements. Manages program invitations and confirming program logistics with internal partners and Speakers. Accountable for budget management and assumes fiscal responsibility in managing program spend.

• Partners closely with Health Care Compliance to ensure adherence to global requirements and corporate guidelines pertaining to interactions with and exchanges of value for HCP's. Develops a working knowledge of healthcare compliance requirements and ensures healthcare compliance through lifecycle of meetings managed.

• Delivers the highest level of customer service to HCP event participants. Collaborates and communicates effectively with internal partners, establishing and maintaining constructive relationships. Develops strong partnerships with corporate travel agency and other external vendors and suppliers to ensure the success of events. Answers routine questions and handles inquires of a moderate scope and complexity pertaining to events. Applies knowledge to problem-solve and appropriately seeks guidance from senior team members and leadership.

• Shares best practices and demonstrates continued dedication to improving processes. Assists in the initial development and any future revisions of a standard operating procedure for the meeting management process.

Your Skills and Expertise

To set you up for success in this role from day one, Solventum requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree (completed and verified prior to start) AND 2-3 years work experience with direct coordination of healthcare related or medical education Speaker program management

In addition to the above requirements, the following are also required:

• Fluent bilingual oral and written communication skills in English and Spanish languages.

• Intermediate experience with Microsoft Office applications including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, etc.

Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:

• Associates degree or higher (completed and verified prior to start) AND work experience with direct coordination of healthcare related or medical education Speaker program management

• Experience with professional event management software/systems [Cvent, etc. ]

• Basic knowledge of and experience with Health Care Compliance practices pertaining to interactions with Healthcare Professionals within Latin America
