The Licensed Practical Nurse will assist the physician in providing quality patient care in line with established methods and in compliance with the Oregon State Board of Nursing practices.
Key Responsibilities:

Embrace a culture aligned with The Corvallis Clinic's Service and Behavioral Standards.
Familiarity and adherence to these principles are essential.
Direct patient flow and prepare patients for examinations.
Collect vital information for patient visits, accurately documenting it in charts and ensuring timely processing of necessary paperwork.
Manage patient phone calls, ensuring timely callbacks and prescription refills as directed by the physician, with accurate documentation.
Assist providers during procedures as directed and maintain aseptic techniques.
Perform invasive procedures for which you possess the appropriate training.
Monitor physician schedules for accuracy proactively.
Enhance the quality of care through continued education and self-evaluation, participating in inservices and departmental meetings, and staying current on clinic policies.
Contribute to maintaining a clean, organized, and well-stocked examination area.

Required Qualifications:

Graduate of an accredited practical nursing program.
Current unencumbered licensure in Oregon.
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification or ability to obtain it within 90 days of hire.
Experience in acute care and/or clinic settings.
Preferred Qualifications:

Knowledge of essential clinical skills to provide patient care effectively.
Ability to prioritize tasks efficiently.
Capacity to work collaboratively with physicians, patients, and staff.
Aptitude for managing multiple tasks in a busy, fast-paced environment.
The hourly rate for this position ranges from $19.86 to $38.85 per hour for full-time employees, based on various factors such as local labor markets, education, work experience, and certifications.
