As the Texas Safety Manager, you will spearhead our HSE initiatives in the Texas region, playing a pivotal role in promoting a safe, healthy, and productive work environment. This position requires a dynamic leader capable of fostering a culture of safety excellence across all levels of operations.

Responsibilities

Lead the development and implementation of HSE guidelines, policies, and procedures that align with company objectives.

Engage with Business Line Management to tackle challenges and fulfill customer mandates, ensuring robust support for HSE initiatives.

Stay ahead of pending legislation and regulatory mandates, crafting compliance strategies and effectively communicating these throughout the organization.

Collaborate with Line and Project Management on regulatory compliance, incident reporting, and case management.

Spearhead safety training programs, ensuring relevance, compliance, and effectiveness.

Drive safety culture through behavioral change, influence, and engagement, ensuring safety becomes a core aspect of our operational DNA.

Monitor and ensure compliance with DOT, OSHA, and MSHA regulations, leveraging audits, training, and expert consultations.

Maintain a visible and proactive role in the project safety process, acting as a key point for safety process communication and enhancements.

Foster relationships with external professionals and organizations to stay abreast of best practices and regulatory compliance.

What We're Looking For

5-7 years of leadership experience in HSE roles, with at least 3 years in management.

A Bachelor's degree in health and safety from an accredited college/university or commensurate experience with proven results.

Preferred qualifications include ASP or CSP certification, Smith System Train the Trainer.

3-5 years of experience with DOT/FMCSA training, driver qualification files, and Clearinghouse.

OSHA and MSHA Certifications (e.g., OSHA 500/510, MSHA Part 46, Certified MSHA instructor).

3-5 years of experience in oil & gas or energy sector is highly desirable.
