Position Summary:
The RN provides direct patient care to pediatric through geriatric patient populations.
The RN monitors, positions and assists patient during procedure and communicates all pertinent information with the surgical team continuously, and as needed, about patient condition, acting as a patient/customer advocate in order to provide safe, reliable, high-quality care.
Nursing is empowered in a team environment while interacting and overseeing Surgical Technologist, Orderlies, and other personnel in the Operating Room.
The RN will use current OR technology and equipment in addition to the current integrative computer charting program.Requirements:
Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.Current Registered Nurse licensure in the State of Maine.
Current American Heart Association Healthcare Provider BLS certification.
Minimum of one (1) year work experience in the operating room preferred.Skills:
Basic computer knowledge.
