Acute Registered Nurse
Hourly Rate: BR - BR
Salary Rate: BR,200 - BR,600
The Acute Registered Nurse must demonstrate familiarity with dialysis and hospital emergency procedures and the knowledge, skills and judgement necessary to assume the responsibility of caring for the dialysis patient in the acute care setting. This position exercises a knowledge of patient rights and ensures an atmosphere which allows for the privacy, dignity and well-being of all patients in a safe, secure environment. This individual cooperates and works together with all co-workers to plan and complete job duties with applicable supervisory direction, including exercising job-appropriate judgement.

Required Education and Experience
• Registered Professional Nurse with current state licensure.
• Minimum of 18 months of nursing experience with at least 6 of those months in hemodialysis, critical care experience
i.e., ICU/CCU preferred, but not required.
• Meets all applicable state/licensing requirements.
• Has demonstrated the knowledge, skills and judgment necessary to assume the responsibility of caring for the dialysis patient in the acute care setting.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Current CPR Certification.
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to speak effectively with clients and fellow staff members.
