Active IL license required; pending licenses may be accepted Certifications:
Basic Life Support (BLS) required; Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) and National Institutes of Health (NIH) preferred Must-Have:
- Interpretation and management of dysrhythmias - Telemetry on-unit and remote monitoring - Use of Rapid Response Teams - Post Cardiac Angiogram, Post MI, Pre/Post Cardiac Cath experience - IV insulin protocols expertise - IV therapy and phlebotomy skills - Heparin Protocols and management of cardiac drips - Chest tubes management, CPAP/BIPAP, and oxygen therapy skills - Isolation precautions and wound care/wound vac experience
- Work in a Level I trauma center, providing acute care within a Magnet hospital - Manage an average daily patient census of 25 - Float within scope to meet facility needs, including like units such as Medical-Surgical/Cardiac units - Every other weekend work requirement:
