Requirements : To be considered for this role you must have the following experience, and certifications:

Valid National Pharmacy Technician License (CPhT) preferred.
Must have at least 1 year of experience as a Pharmacy Clerk
2 years of IV compounding experience.
Must have strong Data Entry skills
Must reside within a reasonable driving distance to Malvern, PA .
High School Diploma or equivalent GED
Excellent Written and verbal skills
Proficiency with Excel spreadsheets
Prior authorization experience

Job Duties:

Process incoming calls from members and providers, offering professional phone assistance.
Initiate the prior authorization process for prescription medications.
Maintain complete and accurate documentation for all approvals, denials, and transfers.

Job Location : Malvern, PA

Pay- The anticipated wage for this position is between $18 and $ 18.30.

Hourly wage depends upon experience, education, geographic location and other factors.

ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Assist the pharmacist in obtaining authorization for pharmacy services as requested; validate insurance coverage and communication with patients by telephone.

.Take in-coming calls from members and providers, providing professional phone assistance to all callers through the criteria based prior authorization process.

• Gather information for the initial admission of new patients and review all new charts to ensure that all necessary nursing paperwork is included

• Manage the schedule for patient deliveries, manage inventory, create and maintain supply templates in the pharmacy computer data base

• Document all supply management activities in the patient medical record

Schedule -

Monday to Friday 830am to 530pm with 1 hour lunch

Pay Details: $18.00 to $18.30 per hour
