Details:
The Massage Therapist is responsible for providing massage therapy services to hospice patients according to their plan of care. Duties include but are not limited to:
Performs assessments, evaluations, and establishes a plan and goals for massage therapy.
Performs massage therapy treatments as prescribed by the Attending Physician and the Suncrest Hospice team.
Instructs patients, family and staff in the use of massage therapy.
Reports on client's response to treatment or any changes in condition.
Documents services delivered using electronic methods on day of service.
Attends team conferences upon request.
Participates in Performance Improvement activities, as requested.
Qualifications:
Currently licensed to practice as a massage therapist in the state or states of employment
One year of massage therapy experience
Proof of professional liability insurance.
Reliable transportation, valid driver's license and required vehicle insurance
