Salary: $70,000-75,000Schedule: Monday- Friday with Evenings and Weekends as Needed

Job Summary

We are seeking a Full-Time, Onsite Campus Registered Dietitian to join our Food Service Nutrition Team with Chartwells Higher Education at Rider University in Lawrenceville, New Jersey!

Key Responsibilities:

Provides nutrition education & training support for the campus community including tabling, lunch & learn sessions, one-on-one counseling, etc.
Implements Gourmet Dining wellness programming
Coordinates with the dining management team and culinary associates to meet dietary needs for all customers
Manage and coordinate Meals on Wheels program on campus. Review therapeutic diet and allergen-free meals and create ingredient labels. Our campus serves over 300 meals per day.
Provides nutrition related training including food allergen training to all associates
Assists the management team with menu development and nutrient analysis
Collaborates with marketing to ensure appropriate nutrition communication & messaging
Leads Dining Services Sustainability efforts - partnering with operations and campus stakeholders to track, improve, and communicate sustainability efforts in all dining spaces
Operational execution and oversight - hands-on work in dining spaces to serve guests, train associates, audit systems, collaborate with unit leadership, and ensure excellence in operations and culinary services
Partner with various campus offices, departments, and organizations to ensure alignment with university goals and needs

Qualifications:

Credentialed as a Registered Dietitian by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) required
Licensed by the State Dietetics Licensing Board in states where applicable
Experience working with dietary restrictions and food allergies strongly preferred
Knowledge of P&L accountability and contract managed services experience desirable
ServSafe Manager certified a plus
Possess the necessary skills to effectively utilize Microsoft applications and nutrient analysis programs
