Help Desk Technician

As part of our ongoing growth and expansion, we are seeking a dynamic and experienced Help Desk Technician to support the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration's (NOAA) National Data Buoy Center (NDBC).
Qualifications:
Experience working in a Help Desk environment supporting MS Windows desktops, Red Hat Linux desktops, MS Office applications, basic network troubleshooting skills.

Experience supporting network printing, applying software patches, and use/support of full disk encryption.

Experience with the use and implementation of Help Desk management tools.

Strong customer service skills

Ability to support 24x7x365 operations

AA Computer Science, Information Systems and a relevant NIST Standard IT security certification (or equivalent).
