Description

New venture focusing on the production of aluminum products. The company is currently constructing a $2.5 billion aluminum manufacturing plant in Lowndes County, Mississippi12. This facility will be the first nonferrous project for which is traditionally known for its steel production.

The new plant will have a production capacity of 650,000 metric tons of aluminum flat-rolled products per year. It will produce aluminum sheets for various applications, including cans, vehicles, and industrial uses2. The facility will utilize a significant amount of recycled aluminum, supplied by metals recycling platform, OmniSource.

Aluminum Dynamics aims to begin production in mid-2025, contributing to the growing demand for sustainable and low-carbon aluminum products.

Day to Day:

-Set up, configure, and maintain network infrastructure, including switches, firewalls, and wireless access points.

-Monitor network performance and resolve issues to ensure smooth and uninterrupted operations.

-Implement and manage security measures to protect the network from unauthorized access, viruses, and data breaches.

-Perform regular network performance analysis and provide recommendations for improvements.

-Work with the IT team and other departments to support network-related projects and initiatives.

-Keep accurate records of network configurations, changes, and maintenance activities.

-Offer technical support and training to end-users on network issues and best practices.

-Stay informed about the latest trends and advancements in network technology.

1.Experience with Microsoft Windows 10, Microsoft Windows Server 2016

Experience with SQL Server
Intermediate understanding of Active Directory, Group Policies, DHCP, DNS and networking concepts and standards
Familiar with computer hardware and peripherals
Familiar with telecommunications systems and networks
Experience with Cisco/Juniper switches/routers and other network devices
Familiar with virtualization technologies
Familiar with Level 1 and 2 systems and communications
A positive, can do attitude and ability to work in team environments

The pay range for this position is $80000.00 - $110000.00
