About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled Monitor Tech-Telemetry to join our team on a full-time basis for night shifts. As a Monitor Tech-Telemetry, you will be responsible for monitoring and interpreting cardiac rhythms and notifying the nursing staff of any changes or abnormalities. You will be working in a fast-paced environment, where attention to detail and quick response time is crucial. Your role will be critical in ensuring the safety and well-being of our patients.
Minimum Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent
Completion of a Monitor Tech-Telemetry training program
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
Ability to interpret cardiac rhythms and recognize abnormalities
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Preferred Qualifications:
Associate's or Bachelor's degree in healthcare-related field
Previous experience as a Monitor Tech-Telemetry
Current Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification
Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems
Responsibilities:
Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms
Notify nursing staff of any changes or abnormalities
Maintain accurate and complete documentation of patient information
Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure quality patient care
Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to monitoring equipment
Skills:
As a Monitor Tech-Telemetry, you will utilize your skills in interpreting cardiac rhythms, troubleshooting technical issues, and collaborating with healthcare team members to ensure quality patient care. Attention to detail, quick response time, and excellent communication skills are essential in this role. Additionally, familiarity with EMR systems and previous experience as a Monitor Tech-Telemetry are beneficial.
