Part-time/PDN - Hours may vary

Graduate from an approved school of nursing.
Current licensure by the Arkansas State Board of Nursing as demonstrated by renewal expiration dates.
CPR certification required prior to working on the unit and must maintain every 2 years.

Position requires climbing stairs and walking/standing for extended periods of time.
Requires lifting up to 30 pounds on an occasional basis (up to 15% of time) and moderate physical exertion up to 50 pounds on an intermittent basis; pushing; pulling; bending; and stooping to transport patients, patient's personal items and medical supplies.

Under the direction of the Clinical Manager, the Registered Nurse is responsible for the quality of care for an assigned caseload of patients.
This includes delegating duties appropriately and directing staff in the delivery of care, assuring responsibility for the appropriate utilization of resources, collaborating with medical staff and others in the provision of care, and demonstrating positive interpersonal relationships with others in communication and problem resolution.
The RN must be sensitive to the needs of patients, families, and fellow co-workers, and support the mission of JRMC.
The RN will adhere to all policies and procedures of the department and hospital.

This position is designated as a safety sensitive position.
The essential duties of the job require the employee to work in a constant state of alertness in a safe manner.
A lapse in attention to detail may constitute a threat to health or safety resulting in injury, illness, or death.
