WHAT YOU WILL DO:

Develop and test installation tooling that will insure proper performance of joints between fasteners and installation panels
Develop and machine fasteners used for prototyping process
Assist in the development of new products for customer applications
Test and validate performance of newly developed fasteners. Documentation in test reports
Test and validate performance of released fasteners used in the new applications
Modify tooling for validation of possible engineering change
Provide Interface between other departments related to manufacturing/quality issues
Develop solutions for manufacturing / quality issues together with the engineers
Demonstrate the installation and testing capabilities to visiting customers
Maintain shop equipment.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:

Associate degree or bachelor's Degree in technical field, Engineering or equivalent
Ability to operate and maintain mechanical and hydraulic presses.
Proficient with machine tools such as mill, surface grinder and lathe.
PC/Microsoft Office skills
Drawing reading skills
Basic CAD knowledge (NX, CREO)
Problem solving skills
Detail oriented and excellent organizational skills
Strong verbal and written communication skills

ADDITIONAL SKILLS THAT WILL HELP YOU BE SUCCESSFUL IN THIS ROLE:

Follow all safety requirements to avoid injury to self and fellow employees.
Create and maintain a safe work environment; repair and/or report non-conformances to company safety policies and guidelines
Unairconditioned manufacturing facility and air-conditioned office
Able to sit or stand for 8 -10 hours a day
Ability to lift up to 40 lbs.
