Medical Assistant - Oncology

Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Medical Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess strong clinical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a commitment to providing exceptional patient care.

Responsibilities:

Assist physicians with patient examinations and procedures

Prepare patients for examinations, including taking vital signs and medical histories

Administer medications and treatments as directed

Collect and prepare laboratory specimens

Maintain accurate and timely medical records

Coordinate patient appointments and referrals

Provide excellent patient care and support

Qualifications:

Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) certification

Experience in a clinical setting, preferably in neurology or a related field

Strong organizational and time management skills

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Ability to work effectively as part of a team

Knowledge of electronic health records (EHR) systems

Logan Health operates 24 hours per day, seven days per week. Schedules are set to accommodate the requirements of the position and the needs of the organization and may be adjusted as needed.
