Nearly 160 professional engineers strong and recent recipients ofmultiple ACEC Engineering Excellence and ASCE Project Awards, our senior technical and project management leaders have earned an outstanding reputation with private, state, and local government clients.
We provide planning, design, and construction phase services for the construction of new, or improvements to existing,conveyance systems, treatment plants, pump stations, and other water infrastructure.
We assist our clients withcapital improvement plans, hydraulic modeling services, and implementing asset management programswhile also undertaking study projects includingLong Term CSO Control Plans, Comprehensive Wastewater Management Plans, Integrated Water Resource Management Plans, and Sewer System Evaluation Studies.

What will you be doing?
As aProject Engineer, you will assist a team of experts with the development of plans, specifications, cost estimates, reports, and bid packages.
You will be involved in project discussions regarding technical approach, cost, and scheduling performance on traditional design-bid-build projects and design-build projects.
To be a successfulProject Engineer, you should feel comfortable taking on and delegating many tasks that require various skills, and appropriately prioritizing those tasks for yourself and other Staff Engineers through completion.

What does a Project Engineer need?
Overfive yearsof consulting engineering experience and increasing responsibility in the water industry.
A BS degree in Civil and Environmental Engineering or any related field is required, and an MS degree is preferred.Project Engineerswill need either a PE license or the ability to obtain one in the next 6 months.
You are expected to be enthusiastic to learn, self-motivated, and have strong, clear, and concise written and verbal communication skills.

Project Engineer salaries are determined based on internal equity and market analysis and will vary based on the candidate's skill and experience; the salary range for this position is $78,000 - $118,000.As an employee-owned company, we also offer generous year-end bonuses and robust deferred income benefits to help you build wealth through our matching 401(k), ESOP, and annual profit sharing.
