The person in this role is responsible for manufacturing chemical products while assuring compliance is achieved in all company associated policies.
• Safe and efficient operation of the process or processes assigned
• Apply all plant safety rules and guidelines
• Wear and maintain PPE including a respirator
• Develop and apply improvements in processes and equipment
• QA checks
• Adjust formulations
• Assist in loading trailers
• Unload raw materials as needed
• Complete all paperwork including batch sheets, run sheets and shift reports
• Inspect plant equipment daily
• Other duties as assigned
Job Requirements
Requirements:
• High School Diploma or GED
• Experience in a chemical, pharma or food manufacturing environment
• Forklift experience
• Attention to detail
• Able to work a rotating 12 hour shift and OT as needed
• MS Office application knowledge
• Able to lift 50-75 lbs
• Able to get around a 20 acre site to various buildings
• Work in confined spaces as needed
• Able to wear a respirator and pass respirator physical
