Our Digital Modernization sector is on the lookout for a driven Systems Architect to contribute to the Nuclear Command, Control, and Communications (NC3) Enterprise Center's (NEC) Systems Engineering and Integration (SE&I) Division. This role is essential in ensuring the integrity and functionality of our critical systems.

Under the guidance of the Commander, U.S. Strategic Command (USSTRATCOM), you'll play a crucial role in translating operational requirements into effective solutions. Collaborate closely with engineering teams, government product owners, and key stakeholders to guarantee the development of essential engineering and architecture artifacts.

Key Responsibilities:

Be an integral member of the Sustainment & Evolution Configuration Management team within NEC SE&I, focusing on the integration and modernization of existing Nuclear C3 systems utilizing System-of-System methodologies.
Collaborate with the NC3 Enterprise Change Advisory Panel, facilitating the Configuration Management (CM) process workflows, while presenting findings to relevant governance bodies.
Partner with senior engineers to develop and implement a digital engineering strategy for the NC3 Enterprise, including automated CM processes and audit/verification methodologies.
Provide strategic advice to the Government on continuous improvement recommendations for evaluating new/enhanced NC3 capabilities.
Work alongside other Systems Architects to support the development of a comprehensive digital engineering data strategy.

Basic Qualifications:

Active Top Secret clearance with immediate SCI read-in eligibility.
Bachelor's Degree with 5+ years of relevant experience, OR an Associate's Degree with 7+ years, OR a High School Diploma with 9+ years of relevant experience.
Proficient in DoDAF AV, OV, and SV artifacts.

Preferred Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science, or a related field.
Certification in The Open Group Architecture Framework (TOGAF) or DoD Architecture Framework (DoDAF).

Experience Requirements:

Minimum five years in establishing system information requirements.
Proven ability to design comprehensive architectures including software, hardware, and communications to meet current and future requirements.
Expertise in evaluating workflows and organizational issues to develop effective corrective actions.

Preferred Expertise:

Experience with senior stakeholders in the Nuclear C3 community.
Understanding of the operational and technical characteristics of Nuclear C3 systems.
Able to apply system engineering techniques to secure and survivable communications.
Experience performing architecture/performance trade-off analysis for Nuclear C3 Systems.

Compensation Range:

Pay Range: $85,150.00 - $153,925.00
