Job Details Min 1 year PCU/Tele experience required.
PCU is a 48-bed cardiac telemetry unit.
Nurse to patient ratio is 4:1 and can go to 5:1 depending on unit needs.
Utilization of PCAs (CNAs) and LPNs in a team nursing approach.
Fast paced unit with quick patient turnover.
In need of nurses who are comfortable taking care of patients on drips including amiodarone, cardizem, dopamine, dobutamine, nitro, lasix and insulin.
Must have post cardiac cath procedure experience.
Expect timely discharge of patients, hourly rounding and bedside shift report completed on all patients.
Floating is required if needed.
Every other weekend coverage.
Job Requirements ACLS, BLS, NIH required
1 year of PCU/Tele experience
