As a Roofing- Working Foreman at Aspen Roofing Services, you will oversee and coordinate roofing projects from start to finish, ensuring high-quality workmanship and safety. You will lead a team of roofing technicians, manage project schedules, and be the on-site leader for smooth and efficient project execution. Your ability to manage materials, equipment, and personnel will ensure that all roofing work meets Aspen Roofing's standards for excellence and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Lead and work alongside roofing crews to ensure the safe, efficient, and high-quality completion of jobs.
Install and repair various roofing systems, including shingles, slate, rubber, TPO, built-up, and metal.
Perform gutter and downspout repairs and replacements.
Assist with other roofing and metal shop work as required.
Prepare and submit daily job paperwork and crew timesheets.
Provide written reports and communicate job status updates to Project Managers daily.
Train and guide crews on technical roofing procedures and safety standards.
Regularly interact with customers on-site, providing clear explanations of project details and delivering a superior customer experience.
Perform additional duties as assigned.

The ideal candidate should possess:

Legally authorized to work in the US.
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation to and from Peabody, MA.
Ability to read and interpret plans and drawings.
Bilingual in Spanish is a plus, but not required.
Must have your own basic hand tools required for roofing.

Education & Experience:

High school diploma or equivalent required.
Vocational training or certifications in roofing or construction-related fields are a plus.
3+ years of roofing experience with increasing responsibilities, and at least 2 years as a roofing mechanic.
Proven experience managing roofing projects and leading teams to deliver quality work.
Familiarity with both steep slope and low slope roofing is a plus.
Experience with shingles, rubber, slate, and metal work/gutters is beneficial.

Physical Requirements:

Ability to lift up to 50 pounds as needed.
Ability to navigate the physical premises of the organization's various departments.
Must be able to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
Requires physical stamina and strength for standing, walking, climbing, bending, lifting heavy objects, and operating roofing equipment.
