We are looking for a professional,service-oriented team player to join our very busy accounting team. As afull-time Accounting Clerk, you will be assisting the Controller with variousadministrative tasks. Your attention to detail, multi-taking abilities andprofessional demeanor will be essential in increasing the productivity andefficiency of an expanding accounting department.

General Summary: A non-exempt, clerical positionresponsible for increasing theproductivity and efficiency of an expanding accounting department.
Essential Job Responsibilities:
•Post payments, process checks, and handle creditcard transactions with precision.
•Manage case statuses, ensuring accurate updatesthroughout the litigation process.
•Reconcile accounts and confirm outstandingbalances for accuracy and completion.
•Handle administrative tasks like answeringphones, processing mail, and sending attorney statements.
•Print and forward billing statements, reductionrequests, and process discounts or adjustments.
•Collaborate with other departments to gathernecessary information and resolve discrepancies.
Skills:
•Proficiency in accounting software and MicrosoftExcel.
•Strong attention to detail and organizationalskills.
•Excellent communication and problem-solvingabilities.
•Familiarity with workers' compensation orpersonal injury billing is a plus.
Education: High school diploma or equivalent,some college preferred.
Experience: Two or more years of experience ina clerical position. Must be proficientin Excel.
Job Type:Full-time Monday - Friday 8am - 5pm
