OBA, A Groundworks Company, is seeking a talented Plumbing Technician to join their team in Cincinnati, OH!The Plumbing Technician is responsible for maintaining plumbing and piping systems and associated components, identifying repair/replacement opportunities, and providing excellent customer service.
This role will lead the installing, maintaining, and repairing of plumbing systems and fixtures which will include toilet replacements, faucet replacements, water heater replacements, soldering, and common plumbing repairs.
In addition, this role will inspect and test plumbing systems for safety, functionality, water quality, and code compliance in residential.
The Plumbing Technician will address customer queries, troubleshoot and resolve problems, and prepare cost estimates.What we provide for our employees:

Completes plumbing and other related in-home, service calls.Evaluate customer plumbing situation, develop multi-option proposals/estimates, and present to customers using the A-1/Groundworks Sales Methodology.Works with customers for a thorough understanding of estimatesUnderstands service criteria and is accountable for exceeding revenue goals.Performs recorded camera inspections.Diagnoses and repairs plumbing & piping systems and components in residential and commercial buildingsAbility to perform projects and serviceProficient in piping domestic, sewer, gas, and hydronic systems with experience in copper (soldering, pro press, and brazing), PVC, cast iron, gas piping (black iron, Gastite CSST), and PEXExperience in boiler, chiller, and water heater replacementMaintains tools, supplies and/or equipment for the purpose of ensuring the availability of items and equipment are in safe operating conditionKnowledge of plumbing codePrepares documentation for written support and conveys information appropriatelyResponds to emergency situations to resolve plumbing & piping issuesEnforces a safety-focused cultureGreat craftsmanship requiredOn Call and weekend shifts:
We have a rotating schedule.
Each shift is a 5-day work week with 1-2 on calls per month.All other duties assignedQualifications:
Minimum 2 years of experience in Residential PlumbingHigh School Diploma or GEDValid Driver's license and insurable driving record requiredKnowledge of basic hand and plumbing toolsExperience with home and commercial software and technology (example:
ServiceTitan)License and certifications preferred but not required:
