V-Soft Consulting is currently hiring for a Chief Financial Officer in Louisville Kentucky.

We are seeking a dynamic and strategic Chief Financial Officer (CFO) with a proven track record in the IT Consulting and Staffing industry.
This is an exciting opportunity for a seasoned financial leader who thrives in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment.
Ideal candidate will not only direct the financial functions of our organization but also play a critical role in driving our expansion through mergers and acquisitions (M&A). Additionally, experience in managing HR and legal teams is essential, as you will oversee these crucial areas to ensure our workforce remains agile and compliant in a competitive landscape. This position ensures legal and regulatory compliance for all accounting and financial reporting functions with the goal of protecting the company's revenue and profits to achieve full financial control and sustainable growth.

Education and Experience " Educational Background:

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field. An MBA or advanced degree is a plus.

Career Progression:

10-15 years of experience in managing an accounting function or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Financial Expertise:

Experience and success managing a large revenue organization with at least $100m + in yearly revenue.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities " M&A Expertise:

Identify, evaluate, and execute mergers and acquisitions to fuel company growth.
Conduct thorough due diligence and seamlessly integrate acquired entities into our financial and operational systems.

HR & Legal Oversight:

Manage HR functions including talent acquisition, employee relations, performance management, and organizational development to maintain a compliant and motivated workforce.
Manage legal matters including contracts, intellectual property, and litigation.
Develop and implement corporate policies related to conflicts of interest, standards of business conduct, and other legal issues.

Operational Excellence:

Implement and enhance financial systems and procedures to improve efficiency, accuracy, and compliance. Provide strategic insights to the executive team to guide decision-making.
Continually improve the budgeting process through education of department managers on financial issues impacting department budgets.
Evaluate the finance division structure and team plan for continual improvement of the efficiency and effectiveness of the group.
Hire, train, coach, develop, and appraise staff effectively, taking corrective action as necessary on a timely basis and in accordance with company policy.
Keep up to date on information and technology affecting functional areas to increase innovation and ensure compliance.

WHAT YOU'LL DO: Job Responsibilities: Strategic Financial Leadership:

Lead the financial planning, risk management, and budgeting processes to ensure the company's financial health and support its growth objectives.
Plan, develop, organize, direct, and evaluate the organization's fiscal function and performance while participating in the development of the corporation's plans and programs as a strategic partner.
Provide strategic financial input and leadership on decision-making issues affecting the organization.
Develop credibility for the finance group by providing timely and accurate analysis of budgets, financial reports, and financial trends.
Work with executives and management to develop solutions to business challenges.
Optimize the handling of bank and deposit relationships and initiate appropriate strategies to enhance the cash position. Additionally, develop a reliable cash flow projection process/reporting mechanism that includes minimum cash threshold to meet the operating needs of the organization.
Advise from a financial perspective on any contracts into which the corporation may enter.

Industry Experience:

Extensive experience in financial leadership within the IT Consulting/Staffing industry is preferred, with a deep understanding of the unique challenges and opportunities in this sector.

M&A Track Record:

Demonstrated success in leading mergers and acquisitions, from due diligence to integration.

HR & Immigration Management:

Experience overseeing HR functions and managing immigration processes within a multinational workforce.

Leadership Skills:

Strong leadership and organizational abilities, with a proven ability to drive cross-functional teams towards success.

Technical Proficiency:

In-depth knowledge of financial management software, data analysis, and forecasting tools.

Compliance & Risk Management:

Ensure the company meets all federal, state, and local legal requirements, and proactively manage financial risks through robust analysis and controls.
Advise management of any potential risks and protect operations by keeping financial information confidential.
Manage oversight of finance/accounting departments including coordination with offshore units.

Team Development :

Evaluate and mentor the finance, HR, and legal teams, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional growth.
