Job Summary:
The Sr. Compensation Analyst is responsible for shaping and executing comprehensive compensation strategies that effectively attract, motivate, and retain talent within organization. The role will collaborate closely with leadership to ensure competitive, equitable and fiscally responsible pay practices that align with organizational goals. This position plays a critical role in creating dashboards, metrics, and tools that align with company goals and ensure compensation practices remain competitive, compliant, and effective.
Essential Job Functions:
Market Research and Job Evaluation: Conducts comprehensive market salary surveys to benchmark compensation packages against industry standards. Evaluates job descriptions and determines appropriate salary ranges through detailed analysis.
Cross- Functional Collaboration: Partners with HR leaders, business unit leaders and executives to develop and refine compensation strategies that align with organizational goals and budgetary considerations.
Project leadership and policy development: Leads the development, implementation and maintenance of compensation policies and procedures to ensure compliance and best practice. Direct compensation related projects, including salary structure views, incentive plan design and annual compensation assessments, ensuring successful execution.
Data Management and Analysis: Oversees the maintenance and analysis of compensation data within HRIS systems, ensuring accuracy, confidentiality, and timely reporting of critical compensation metrics. Utilizes datadriven insights to inform compensation strategies and decision making.
Design and maintain dashboards, metrics, and analytics tools to monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of compensation programs.
Consultation and Training: Provides expert consultation and strategic recommendations to leadership. Provides guidance and training on compensation issues.
Compliance Monitoring: Ensures all compensation programs comply with local, state and federal laws and regulations.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office particularly Excel
Strong hands-on experience of job evaluations, benchmarking and analyzing salary survey results.
Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively engage with various stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, with the ability to make informed decisions.
Required Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
3+ years of experience working with Compensation and HRIS.
Experience in CompAnalyst Compensation software or similar software.
Experience in benchmarking and designing base pay, bonus and other compensation plans.
Experience in design and maintenance of dashboards, metrics and other analytics tools.
Preferred Qualifications: Experience as an administrator for Compensation and HRIS, including setup and optimization of processes.
Experience modeling and designing salary structures from start to finish.
Certified Compensation Professional.
Experience collaborating with teams across multiple locations.
Work Environment:
Primarily based on a remote/virtual setting, however hybrid or on-site work may be an option depending on the location of the candidate.
