We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced General GYN Surgeon to join our team.
Job Summary:
The General GYN Surgeon will be responsible for providing comprehensive gynecologic surgical care to patients.
This includes performing a variety of surgical procedures, diagnosing and treating gynecological conditions, and collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure the best patient outcomes.
The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to patient care, excellent surgical skills, and the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform a wide range of gynecological surgeries, including minimally invasive procedures, hysterectomies, laparoscopies, and other related surgeries.
Diagnose and treat gynecologic conditions such as endometriosis, fibroids, ovarian cysts, and other reproductive health issues.
Conduct preoperative and postoperative consultations and follow-up care.
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare providers to develop and implement comprehensive treatment plans.
Maintain accurate and detailed medical records in compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
Educate patients and their families on surgical procedures, postoperative care, and overall women's health.
Participate in quality improvement initiatives and continuous education to stay current with advancements in gynecologic surgery.
Provide on-call coverage as needed for gynecological emergencies.
Qualifications:
Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited medical school.
Board certification or eligibility in Obstetrics and Gynecology.
Completed residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology.
Fellowship training in gynecologic surgery is preferred but not required.
Valid and unrestricted medical license to practice in the state of Florida.
Strong surgical skills with experience in a variety of gynecologic procedures.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
