Cambridge International Systems, Inc. has a full-time Computer and Information Systems Manager opportunity available based in Stuttgart, Germany.
Qualified candidates for this job must possess a current DoD Secret security clearance and be eligible for DoD Top Secret clearance, NATO Indoctrination, and meet TESA accreditation requirements.
• TESA Certification allows employees to be tax exempt for both Germany and US, in addition to other great perks
• This position is contingent upon contract award.
Employees may be eligible for:
relocation reimbursement, housing allowance, COLA and school reimbursement for dependents.
ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES Plans and coordinates implementation of switch cuts, forecasts, and special projects within the network.
Consults with users and evaluates requirements, recommends designs, provides cost analyses, plans projects, and coordinates tasks for installation of networks.
Develops network performance criteria and measurement methods.
Must have experience with F5 Web Application and API Protection solutions.
Performs technical analysis of software, hardware, and network systems, front-end processors systems engineering, multiplexors, LAN/WAN communications, network nodes, switches, and various transmission systems.
Develops alternative routing scenarios and changes in required sequence of network activities.
Automates statistical research and reports.
Performs future worth economic selection studies on network upgrades and components to determine feasibility, cost, time required, and compatibility with current system.
Required QUALIFICATIONS Provides technical/management leadership on major tasks or technology assignments.
Establishes goals and plans that meet project objectives.
Has domain and expert technical knowledge. Develops technical solutions to complex problems.
Directs and controls activities for a client, having overall responsibility for financial management, methods, and staffing to ensure that technical requirements are met.
Interactions involve client negotiations and interfacing with senior management.
Decision-making and domain knowledge may have a critical impact on overall project implementation.
May supervise others.
Bachelor's (or equivalent) with 8 - 10 years of experience, or a Master's with 6 - 8 years of experience.
Extensive knowledge of field.
Must be proficient in using different technologies such as computers and other tools and systems pertinent to the position.
Must possess an active DoD Secret security clearance.
TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS Active Passport.
In rare occasions, overnight travel may be required.
PHYSICAL ENVIRONMENT AND WORKING CONDITIONS Cambridge International Systems complies with Temporary Duty Station (TDY)/Outside Continental United States (OCONUS) vaccination requirements. If this position requires OCONUS travel, Vaccine Recommendations by AOR | Health.mil lists applicable current vaccination requirements by location.
Office setting:

Must be able to work in an office environment, sitting at a desk, looking at a computer for most of the workday.
Work is physically comfortable; the employee has discretion about sitting, walking, standing, etc.
May be required to travel short distances to offices/conference rooms and buildings on site.
