Key Duties and Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership
Influence and execute a comprehensive compensation strategy aligned with business goals.
Serve as a trusted advisor to People team on compensation matters.
Monitor trends, best practices, and regulatory changes to ensure the company's compensation programs remain competitive and compliant.
Program Design and Management
Lead the design and administration of salary structures, incentive plans, and other compensation initiatives.
Manage compensation benchmarking and survey strategy. Evaluate and benchmark jobs to ensure competitive positioning within the market.
Oversee the annual compensation review cycle, including reward increases, bonus allocations, etc.
Data Analysis and Reporting
Lead analysis on the best survey to use for benchmarking
Analyze compensation data and market trends to make data-driven recommendations.
Prepare and present reports for executives and stakeholders on compensation strategy, metrics and effectiveness.
Compliance and Risk Management
Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local compensation regulations, including FLSA, pay equity laws, and others.
Conduct regular audits to identify and mitigate risks related to compensation practices.
Collaboration and Communication
Partner with Business Partners and Talent Acquisition to address compensation challenges and develop tailored solutions.
Communicate compensation philosophy and policies effectively to employees and managers, driving toward a culture of pay transparency.
